If you weren't one of the lucky ones to get in on the challenge but still want to be apart of the experience please ready the post below for details. With spring time just around the corner we are gearing up to clean house and that means giving our Cloth Diapers a good deep clean and strip them. Over time minerals and soap residue cling to your diapers and allow amonia to be trapped leading to the 'stinkies' and eventually ammonia burn on baby's bum. To prevent this we regularly strip our diapers 3-4 months OR when needed to keep them in prime working order. Although RLR is a safe treatment for cloth diapers when used as describer it is best to contact your CD manufacture to learn about washing instructions to protect your warranty. The Challenge: 1. Receive your RLR 2. Wash your diapers with your CD safe soap you use at home 3. Place clean diapers (wet or dry ) in bath tub with HOT water and 1 Pack of RLR (2 packs if you have more then 35 diapers) 4. Swirl and agitate to create bubbles. TAKE A PICTURE OF BEFORE 5. Let sit for 30 mins and give a second swirl with around 6. Wait 45 mins and THEN TAKE A PICTURE AGAIN 7. Drain water and rinse in tub with hot water then toss in your washmachine and rinse on hot or warm until the bubbles are gone. *may take 1-3 more times depending on how much build up their is. 8.
